Religious exemption from worker's compensation. Provides an exemption from worker's compensation and occupational diseases coverage for a member of certain religious sects or a division of a religious sect who meets certain requirements and obtains a certificate of exemption (certificate) from the worker's compensation board (board). Provides that, if an employee for whom a certificate is issued no longer meets the requirements for a certificate, the employee and the employee's employer are required to notify the board in writing. Requires the employer to provide worker's compensation and occupational diseases coverage for that employee beginning on the date of the notice.
