Election of Lake County juvenile judge. Provides that a vacancy in the judgeship of the juvenile division of the Lake County superior court (court) is filled by the governor rather than by the governor from a list of names submitted by the Lake County judicial nominating commission. Provides that in appointing magistrates, the juvenile judge of the court shall strive to reflect the ethnic and racial demographics of Lake County. Provides that the judge of the juvenile division of the court is elected in a partisan election instead of being subject to a retention election as are the other judges
